The game was held at the Butte Community Ice Center and the Orediggers showed their dominance by maintaining a strong offensive throughout the match.

In terms of shots on goal, the Orediggers were clearly the more aggressive team, with 59 shots compared to the Eagles’ 31. Despite the Eagles managing to convert one of their three powerplays, the Orediggers’ defensive prowess shone through, keeping their net safe on all four of the Eagles’ powerplay opportunities.
