The Montana Tech Orediggers hockey team started off their season with an impressive 8-3 victory over the Idaho State University Bengals at Campion Ice House. The Orediggers dominated the game from start to finish, showcasing their skills and determination on the ice.

The Orediggers came out strong, firing a total of 36 shots on goal throughout the game. Their powerplay was effective, with 1 goal scored out of 10 opportunities. On the defensive end, the Orediggers penalty kill was solid, shutting down all 3 of the Bengals’ powerplay chances.

In the net, Orediggers goalie Brecken Kasse put on a stellar performance, facing 27 shots and making 24 saves to help secure the win for his team. On the offensive side, #19 Riley Kelly led the charge with 2 goals, contributing significantly to the team’s success.
