The Montana Tech Orediggers faced a tough matchup against the Utah State University Aggies this past Saturday at the Eccles Ice Center. Unfortunately, the Orediggers fell short with a final score of 0-17 in favor of the Aggies.

The game was a challenging one for the Orediggers, who managed to get off 16 shots compared to the Aggies’ impressive 67 shots on goal. Despite their efforts, the Orediggers were unable to capitalize on their powerplay opportunities, going 0/1 on the man advantage. On the other hand, the Aggies made the most of their powerplay chances, converting on 1/1 opportunities.

In the net, Orediggers goalie Edward Kazmierczak faced 21 shots and made 15 saves, while Aggies goalie Isaac Rice turned away all 16 shots he faced. It was a tough night for the Orediggers defense, as they struggled to contain the Aggies’ offensive onslaught led by Sam Voss, who tallied an impressive 5 assists in the game.

Despite the lopsided result, the Orediggers showed resilience and determination throughout the game. Every game is a learning experience, and the team will look to regroup and come back stronger in their next matchup.
